Our Story
Sanibel Island is the birthplace of Sanibel's Best Homemade Ice Cream.
In a short period of time, we gained a reputation for bringing in large crowds eager to experience our unique flavors.
Tragically, Hurricane Ian devastated Southwest Florida when it made landfall here. Forcing us to close our doors on the island.
After a year, we successfully opened two locations in Southwest Florida. Our establishments are pleased to offer both our new, Crooked Cow ice cream with alcohol infusion, and our classic, unique Sanibel's Best Homemade flavors.
We are committed to our mission of providing people in the area with freshly prepared ice cream and to helping non-profit organizations who advocate for the futures of their communities.
Giving Back
In 2021 Sanibel's Best raised over $10,000.00 to donate to Captains for Clean Water. Whose mission is to restore and protect aquatic ecosystems for the use and enjoyment of all.
The Crooked Cow Creamery and Sanibel's Best Homemade Ice Cream will once more support and donate to local and national non-profits that work to protect our community, state, nation, and world to ensure a secure and beautiful world for our children and the generations to come.
